PoleSports Aerial Hoop Basic Set with 2-point suspension

Aerial hoops with 2-point suspension are particularly suitable when figures are also to be performed above the hoop or between the suspension points. The hoop hangs more stable and swings only in one direction. This provides more stability for challenging poses, but requires a higher suspension. This set includes the hoop, a very stable ceiling mount with fastening material, and carabiners. The optional swivel provides smooth rotation around the vertical axis, which you should not do without. The 2-point hoop is often used by advanced aerial athletes who have individual requirements for the length of the suspension. The round slings to be used for this are therefore not included in this set and can be purchased separately from us in the shop.

  • Very high-quality hoop with grippy powder coating
  • First-class quality made in Europe
  • Special and very stable ceiling mount with fastening material
  • Without swivel, three carabiners are included, with swivel four carabiners
  • Ideal basic set for starting with the 2-point hoop

You can find suitable round slings for the suspension here: Round slings

How do I find the right Aerial Hoop diameter?

Sit on a chair and measure the length from the seat to the top of your head. This measurement plus 10 centimeters results in the recommended inner diameter of your Aerial Hoop. When choosing your aerial hoops, always pay attention to the diameter (inside/outside) of the specified ring size.

What aerial hoop thickness should I choose?

The thicker the tube diameter, the more comfortable it is. A thicker tube diameter gives you a larger contact surface at the contact points, which is much more comfortable during training. The safer grip speaks in favor of aerial hoops with a smaller tube diameter.

Do I have to tape the aerial hoop?

The powder coating of our aerial hoops already provides a good grip. Additional taping is not absolutely necessary. However, if you generally have problems with the grip or often suffer from sweaty hands, then the additional taping of our hoops can be quite helpful.

Our tip: The Aerial Hoop from PoleSports offers a really good grip even without tape.

What do I need to hang up an Aerial Hoop?

You can attach your Aerial Hoop in different ways. Standard suspension equipment includes round slings, carabiners, ball bearing swivels and special ceiling hangers where no fixed anchor point or beam is available. You can find more information about the different possibilities in our Aerial Suspension Guide.

Where is the best place to hang up the Aerial Hoop?

You can hang up your Aerial Hoop both indoors and outdoors. But make sure that your hoop does not get wet (rain, high humidity, dew, etc.), otherwise it can rust. It is important that your attachment points (e.g. beams, branches, ceilings, etc.) are sufficiently stable. Around the Aerial Hoop you need about 2 m of space in each direction. You should choose the height at the beginning so that the middle of the aerial hoop is approximately at your chest height.

What is the difference between 1 point and 2 point?

1-point mounts tend to move more because they are free to swing in any direction. This gives you a higher degree of freedom than with 2-point suspensions. In addition, these hoops are better suited for limited ceiling heights, since less space and accessories are required for suspension.

2-point hoops have limited freedom of movement at the side. This allows for figures performed on the top of the hoop or where sideways tipping of the hoop is undesirable.
